Greetings from XLRI! As you are aware the week end before 20th of December every year we have the Silver Jubilee Reunion of a batch. This year we are celebrating the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the batch of 1987. We are expecting around fifty alumni from the 1987 batch at XL during December 14th-17th (Friday – Monday) 2012. Some of them are coming along with their family. We take the opportunity to welcome each and every alumnus from the batch of 1987.

How to reach XLRI
The Railway Station at Jamshedpur is known as Tatanagar and is well connected by Trains from Alleppy. Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata (Howrah), Mumbai, Patna and Pune . The nearest airports to Jamshedpur are Kolkata And Ranchi. The Journey will take approximately 4 – 5 hours to reach Jamshedpur from Kolkata by train and 2 – 1/2 hours from Ranchi by road.

XLRI Campus is about 7 kms from the Tatanagar Railway Station and can safely be reached by auto – rickshaws or taxis round the clock at a reasonable charge of Rs. 70/- And Rs. 170/- respectively (approximate rates). XLRI is near the Jubliee Park in the Circuit House Area (East). On reaching XLRI , the Watchman could be approached for any help to reach the MDP Residence.
